e-Learning Computer Requirements

Before you begin your electronic course(s), your computer needs to be up-to-date with the appropriate hardware and software.
Moodle System requirements:
To run Moodle effectively, you should as a minimum use the following system components. If you do not, Moodle may still work but some functionality may be lost.
Mobile devices can access Moodle courses with mobile devices by using the free My Moodle app. For assistance see:
Recommended Operating System:
Windows 7 or later
Mac OSX 10.7+ or later
Use a broadband connection (256 Kbit/sec or faster – this will ensure that you can view videos and eLearning presentations) through USB wireless modem, ADSL, T1/T2, fiber optic or cable. Dial-up will be significantly slower; it is not recommended for using with Moodle.
Recommended browsers are:
Google Chrome 22 or later (recommended for optimal compatibility).
Mozilla Firefox 15 or later MS Internet Explorer 9.0 or later
Safari 6 or later.
Opera 9 or later.
Note that add-ons and toolbars can affect any browser’s performance.
If you have difficulty accessing Moodle at SUSLA, check that you are using one of the supported browsers above before you contact technical/user support.
