SUSLA's Entrepreneurship Training Program is to develop and prepare entrepreneurs by enhancing their general understanding of business. This program will adequately prepare new entrepreneurs to start their businesses by emphasizing analysis, synthesis and evaluation of data from functional areas of business. We will seek to provide our participants with a high degree of entrepreneurial training, including goal setting, business practices, establishment, planning and marketing. Our training will provide a blueprint for business start-up and success.
SUSLA's Entrepreneurship Training program lasts a total of six weeks, with 12 sessions. There is a total of 6 classroom hours that are reflective of two sessions per week. Training hours will also include advising and mentorship with business owners. Total training hours, including instruction time and advising/mentoring, will be 36 hours. Business development for the target population focuses on the participant understands of business, motivational factor, and business aspirations.
To qualify for Certificate of Completion, attendance is mandatory. Certificates of Participation will be given otherwise.
