It's that time of the year again for the 9th Annual Gentlemen's Cooking Classic hosted by the Southern University at Shreveport Foundation. The event will take place on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at Harrah's Louisiana Down's in the Red River Room, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Celebrity Chefs will again be whipping up their favorite dishes and engage in a little friendly competition as professionals and amateurs alike compete to be named the Best Chef in the Ark-La-Tex. The theme this year is "A Taste of Southern Cooking". So be sure to mark your calendars to join the Celebrity Chefs for the largest annual gathering of Chefs in the Shreveport-Bossier area.

Not only will there be food, family, and fun, but the event serves a much-needed purpose through providing monies for Southern University at Shreveport student's scholarships.
