SHREVEPORT, LA - Southern University at Shreveport, Beverly Parker, Director of Workforce Training, Adult Education and Continuing Education, is a recipient of the 2012 NISOD (National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development) Excellence Award. She was awarded last week during the annual conference held at the University of Texas at Austin. Over 3000 individuals attended the conference. Community colleges from all over the country participated.
