“The biggest room in the world is the room for improvement”. Southern University at Shreveport is proud to announce the SUSLA Adult Education Program graduation ceremony is this Friday, June 29th at 1:00 p.m. in the Jessie Stone Lecture Hall on the main campus at 3050 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Beverly Parker is Director of the Adult Education Program, which is part of SUSLA’s Community and Workforce Development Division, headed by Ms. Janice Sneed, Vice Chancellor.
There are nearly 30 graduates who have decided to start the road to improving themselves through education. Many of the graduates have made plans to further their education, some of which have chosen Southern University at Shreveport. Graduates range in all ages with the youngest being, Catharina Foshee-17 and the eldest is Ms. Hazel Gibson, who is 62 years “young”!
