Application Fee Waived for Fall 2020

Southern University at Shreveport is waiving its application fee, effective immediately, for fall 2020. Eliminating the application fee is part of an initiative to encourage prospective students to explore programs offered at SUSLA and potentially help assist and support those employees who may be or could become displaced workers due to economic challenges with the coronavirus (COVID-19).

SUSLA offers a wide variety of certificate, diploma, and associate degree programs in a variety of career fields. Also provided are pre-baccalaureate majors for students interested in saving thousands by completing their first two years at SUSLA and then transferring to a 4-year institution.  

Courses will be available on-campus, online or a combination of the two, otherwise known as hybrid for fall 2020.

SUSLA has one of the lowest tuition costs for community and technical colleges in the state of Louisiana. Students are encouraged to apply online at SUSLA.edu.
