Commencement 2022 RSVP

The Southern University at Shreveport 2022 Commencement Ceremony will be held in person on May 11, 2022 at the Municipal Auditorium. Graduates with completion dates of Summer 2021, December 2021 and May 2022 are invited to participate.

Please note that that ceremony will be socially distanced according to current COVID requirements and guidelines for the health and safety of our graduates and guests.

Ceremony details will be communicated with the graduates and degree candidates.

Please be reminded the deadline to order regalia (cap and gown) is April 7, 2022. Regalia must be ordered through the SUSLA Bookstore using the Graduate Measurement Form located in the annual Commencement Guide located at https://www.susla.edu/page/all-things-graduation-table-of-contents.

NOTE: Any student who has not cleared all financial obligations to Southern University at Shreveport including graduation-related fees (graduation application, commencement participation fee, regalia shipping fee, etc.) by April 14, 2022 will not be permitted to participate in commencement exercises, receive his/her diploma or a copy of his/her transcript until all financial indebtedness has been paid.
