Will any in-person classes or events be held for the remainder of the semester?
No in-person classes will be held the week of March 16. However, alternative instruction will be made available for students.
Spring Break will be held March 23-27.
Classes will resume remotely on March 30.
How will classes be delivered?
Instructors will reach out to their students before the start of their respective campus remote class scheduled. Please continue to check official campus emails for details.
What if I don't have Internet or a personal computer to continue my classes?
Students are asked to let their instructors know their limitations so situations can be assessed properly.
Are there any confirmed cases of coronavirus on any Southern University at Shreveport campus?

Are students living on campus being forced to vacate?
No. Students are encouraged to move back to their homes or other locations in hopes of social distancing, a recommendation by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
