Petroleum Technology Operator

The Petroleum Technology Operator program gives the student an education leading to technical competence in the field of petroleum operations.

The primary objective is to give the student a mastery of the fundamentals of operation and control of petroleum refining and processing units and to prepare the student to perform maintenance and monitor equipment operations. The Program combines coursework and coordinated hands-on work so that graduates will be capable of performing the variety of technical and physical tasks demanded of them. The program is part of a larger associate of applied science degree program in Process Engineering Technology.
