Javelin Hardy LMSW, Jaguar Wellness Counselor

Javelin Hardy is a Licensed Master Social Worker with 32 years of experience in social work and mental health services. She lived in Portland, Oregon, for the past 32 years, where she attended Portland Community College, earning her associate's degree in criminal justice, followed by a bachelor's degree in social work at Concordia University, and a Master of Social Work at Portland State University. Javelin has worked in various systems, including the court system, parole and probation, mental health court, inpatient psychiatric care, and intensive outpatient treatment. Her clinical orientation is influenced by Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Family Systems Theory. She is also a trained Trauma-Informed Care trainer.

Javelin’s interests include post-traumatic stress disorder, grief and loss, depression, racial battle fatigue, and working with individuals who have experienced sexual assault.

Fun Fact: Ms. Hardy has authored two books and is working on a third. She loves to travel, is a yoga instructor, and used to compete in track and field.
