ALL HAIL, QUEEN AJACIA TYNE BUTLER

It was another magical night for the SUSLA family as Homecoming Week was winding down. On Thursday, November 7, at the Scottish Rite Temple, Ajacia Tyne Butler became another history in the making as the 52nd Miss Southern University at Shreveport. She was a vision of grace and beauty as she accepted her crown.

The ceremony contained the SUSLA community, along with family and friends in attendance. It was a packed event. Butler stated, “I am beyond thankful for the opportunity God has graced me with.” She continued by saying, “God put me in this position for a reason, and I pray he receives all the glory as I fulfill my purpose through my reign.” She was even pleased with sharing the experience with the Royal Court, especially for being super supportive and helpful.
