Password Assistance
What is Password Self-Service?
The Password Self Service allows Southern University students, faculty and staff to manage their accounts from one central location. Self-service enables 24/7 Web access to reset your password even if you forget your old password. This option provides a more secure way of setting up and updating user passwords. Click here to view password requirements.
When a password is changed using the Password Reset, both your Email and User Login passwords are synchronized, so you only need to remember one password for most on-campus systems including the following:
- Computer login
- WiFi
- Campus Email Account
- Format: first letter of your first name, last name, last 4 of the U number (Ex:jdoe7564@susla.edu)
To obtain your SUSLA email address, follow the below steps:

- Select View Email addresses
- Moodle

- Dynamic Forms
- SUS Email Account
- Format: Firstname.lastname@sus.edu (Ex:john.doe@sus.edu)
