SUSLA’s Police Department (UPD) is inviting all members of our campus community to our National Night Out event, held here on SUSLA’s main campus. The goal continues to be to for police and the community to unite in a positive and uplifting manner to rid our community of crime and drugs. The event will be held on SUSLA’s main campus, October 3, 2023 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event’s purpose is to give the community a chance to gather in fellowship and learn about National Night Out. Our neighbors are encouraged to get to know law enforcement (and each other) to build better relationships and to help prevent crime. UPD partners with our local Shreveport PD and Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office to spread the messages of Community, Caring, and Crime Prevention. National Night Out is a great opportunity to bring our community together.
