SUSLA awarded nineteen certifications to graduates as part of the Environmental and Workforce Development and Job Training Program, sponsored by the Environmental Protection Agency. The graduation ceremony was held on Thursday, July 30 at the Southern University Shreveport – Metro Campus.

SUSLA AWARDS 343 DEGREES AT 2015 COMMENCEMENT

Members of the SUSLA community came together to celebrate the legacy and contributions of the Southern University system’s 135 year history in the campus’ annual Founders’ Day celebration.

Members of the SUSLA community came together to walk and run for the cause of global humanitarian outreach in Africa. Sponsored by the Institute of Global Outreach founded by Mrs. Velma Kirksey-Tarver, this year’s Walk For Humanity was the biggest to date.
