Dr. Aubra J. Gantt, Chancellor, Hosts Southern University System Leadership for Campus Visit
Chancellor Aubra J. Gantt proudly welcomed Dr. Orlando McMeans, Interim President of the Southern University System, and Dr.Marlin Ford of the Southern University Agricultural Research & Extension Center to Southern University at Shreveport for a productive and forward-focused campus visit.
During the visit, Dr. McMeans engaged with Student Government Association leaders and joined Chancellor Gantt and her executive team for high-level discussions centered on expanding opportunities for students, including strengthening Associate-to-Bachelor’s 2+2 pathways across Southern University System campuses.
The visit concluded with a comprehensive tour of SUSLA’s dynamic learning environments and state-of-the-art facilities, showcasing the continued growth and innovation taking place under Chancellor Gantt’s administration.
