PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE

Search committee for Southern University Shreveport chancellor to meet Monday in Shreveport

SHREVEPORT, La. — The search committee for the next chancellor of Southern University Shreveport (SUSLA) will meet on Monday, Oct. 10. The meeting will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the Southern University Shreveport Academy of Excellence located in the University Library, 2nd Floor, Room 37.

The following topics will be discussed:

Charge to the Southern University Shreveport Committee

Overview of the Southern University Shreveport Committee

The search committee, appointed by Southern University System President Dennis J. Shields, is a comprised of representatives of the University and overall community of Shreveport.

Members are David Aubrey, community business; Erica Bryant, parish government; Marci Collins, SUSLA faculty; Kerriuna Curry, SUSLA student government; Darrin Dixon, community workforce; Lt. Jeff Ivey, SUSLA staff member; Brandy Jacobsen, community finance; Ron Lattier, city government; Jean Mosley, SUSLA Foundation; Fred Moss IV, SUSLA faculty senate; Irma Rogers, community; Clifton Starks, community trade and labor union; and Tony Williams, SUSLA alumni and philanthropy.
