SUSLA Receives $35,000 Grant from Community Foundation of North Louisiana for Student Gap Scholarships

Southern University at Shreveport received a $35,000 grant from Community Foundation of North Louisiana, a nonprofit that brings people and resources together to solve problems and enhance the community. Mr. Garrett Johnson, Community Foundation of North Louisiana’s Grants Officer generously presented Dr. Aubra J. Gantt, Chancellor of Southern University at Shreveport with a $35,000 check to help with initiatives to retain first-time students. This grant will help lighten the financial load for students that qualify for the student gap scholarships.

Thank you, Ms. Kristi Gustavson, Chief Executive Office and Community Foundation of North Louisiana team for your support and helping us to Reimagine SUSLA.
