SUSLA VETERANS UPWARD BOUND HOST CHRISTMAS TOY DRIVE
LIVE MEDIA EVENT DECEMBER 14th
‘University, Media Team Up to Support Community and Toys for Tots for the Holidays’
Southern University at Shreveport (SUSLA) Veterans Upward Bound is hosting a toy drive on December 8-16, 2020 to benefit families in the community and Toys for Tots. Toys are being collected at SUSLA’s Main campus located at 3050 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive in Shreveport and the Metro Campus at 610 Texas Street in Downtown Shreveport.
A special day-long live media event will be held on Monday, December 14 from 6 AM-6 PM with media partners KSLA and Alpha Media to encourage the public to drop off gifts to help bring a bit of Christmas cheer to area kids. The public is invited to drop off toys for children of all ages at the MLK or Metro campus locations.
