Adult Education/ YNI programs
Must have access to one for remote access:
- Mobile device
(cell phone/tablet) - Laptop/Desktop computer
(with audio & video access) - Viable email address
Classess offered for day or evening:
- Days: Monday-Thursday
(8:30 AM-12 PM) - Evenings: Tuesday-Thursday
(5-8 PM)
Minimum requirements for consideration:
- 16-24 years of age
- Be a verifed Shreveport resident
Program Perks:
- Academic instruction in preparation for testing for the HiSET
- Stipends for HiSET testing fees
- Life Skills Training/Career Development
- Up to 20 hours of Work-Based Experience
- Attendance/Work-Based Incentives
- Participation at SUSLA Commencement (with Cap & Gown)
- $250 (Upon Graduation from YNI program)
