The Cybersecurity Certificate of Applied Science (CAS) prepares students with the technical knowledge and practical skills needed to protect computer systems, networks, and digital information from today's evolving cyber threats. Through hands-on coursework in cybersecurity fundamentals, Linux operating systems, ethical hacking, intrusion detection and prevention, and incident response, students gain real-world experience using industry-relevant tools and techniques.

This 27-credit-hour certificate is designed for individuals seeking to enter the growing field of cybersecurity or enhance their current IT skills with specialized training in cyber defense and network security.
