Southern University at Shreveport received special 50th Year Recognition and a Proclamation from the City of Shreveport at the Commissioners Meeting on Thursday, September 21, 2017.

In response to the urgent flooding crisis, the Southern University System Office has issued a call to action to support our neighbors in South Louisiana and Houston, Texas. In a display of unity with our sister campuses within the system, efforts have begun to collect items to send toward the relief effort.
