Students that obtain this Administrative Technology Specialist certificate from Southern University at Shreveport will be able to go directly into the workforce as an administrative assistant or office manager in fields such as business, health care and education. This certificate of Technical Studies will give students the knowledge and skills to meet the challenges of today’s business environment.
The Administrative Technology Specialist Certificate will be awarded to students who complete the required 33 credit hours in the program while maintaining a minimum grade of "C" in the Administrative Technology Specialist Program. These students must also satisfy the general requirements of the University.
