Allied Health Sciences & Nursing
The Division of Allied Health Sciences and Nursing is committed to providing the best possible allied health and nursing education at a reasonable cost.
Teaching excellence and concern for the individual student is the heart of our existence. We are here to serve the students in their pursuit of careers in health-related professions. As the largest and most diversified overall instructional unit at the University, Allied Health is a division of the Allied Health Sciences and Nursing and offers seven (6) associate degrees and five (6) certificate programs and one (1) technical diploma program. The Nursing programs consist of Certified Nursing Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse and Registered Nurse. These programs prepare competent, entry-level health care professionals who possess the knowledge, skills and attitudes consistent with the expectations of the public and the profession.
