Band
The Southern University at Shreveport Band program is one of the newest organizations on the SUSLA campus. The band program consists of The Marching Jags Marching Band, a Concert Band, a Pep Band, and small ensembles. A SUSLA Jazz Ensemble is in the works for the near future.

Sexual Misconduct
Sexual misconduct is considered a sexual act or contact of a sexual nature that occurs, regardless of personal relationship, without the consent of the other person(s), or that occurs when the person(s) is unable to give consent or whose consent is coerced or obtained in a fraudulent manner. As defined by the Louisiana Board of Regents, sexual misconduct includes, but is not limited to, sexual assault, sexual abuse, violence of a sexual nature, sexual harassment, non-consensual sexual intercourse, sexual exploitation, video voyeurism, contact of a sexual nature with an object, or the obtaining, posting or disclosure of intimate descriptions, photos, or videos without the express consent of the persons depicted therein, as well as dating violence, domestic violence and stalking.

Parking and Traffic
A vehicle may be registered during the registration process or at the University Police Department during regular business hours, 8:00 am-5:00 pm. Please be informed that you should obtain a new Parking Permit for each vehicle you will use and park on SUSLA Campuses no later than Friday, September 07, 2014. Included in this mandate is the fact that all vehicles parked at any of our locations (Main, Metro, Airport, and Incubator/Bank) requires a permit. For those students who reside in Jaguar Courtyard, you must also have a parking permit issued by your University Police.
